    Default Grain Frame

After looking at another impressive sign from JC I thought I should get a grain fraim. After pricing it I thought (like many of you) that I would make my own.

Anyone care to share how they made theirs? I was thinking piano wire but I'm not sure what size? I was going to take some steel to a friend and have him drill it, but again how far apart works best?

    Robert,

I've made several over the years. Here are some hints.

The frame should be made from welded steel.
Use turn buckles on one end.
Any wire is good. Our favorite incorporated some barbwire.
Twist some knots in the wire.
Gather a few wires together to make them uneven.

    Good luck with your project.

    Joe
