    Default Cedar to Sign Foam

I think this will work out O.K.

A customer would like a small sign that is painted except for one wooden element (a banner).

I'm thinking of using West System to epoxy the cedar banner to the sign foam, I've done the reverse, foam to wood.

The sign will be fastened to a door inside of a non climate controlled stable.

The reason I would like to do it this way is that I have scrap on hand that will do the job....= more $ for my linty pocket!

Just wondering if anyone has done this with good results.

    Thank you.
    Darren.

    Darren,
Just to be sure you might want to "score" the back of the cedar sign, or even place a few short nails/screws in it so that they protrude into the foam. This should eliminate ANY possibility of slippage...
