Default How long to variables stay in shopbot memory?

When loading variables from files (ex: &MYZDPTH=1.0) do they stay resident in memory for the entire duration of the SB3.EXE process (ie until you close the program)? Or do you have to reload them during a session at any time? Thanks!

Variables will persist until written over, cleared with the SL command, or the session is ended.
