A Little Technical Assistance Please

While doing an area clearance, the router gantry just stops half way through the job. Ok, I jog it back to home and try again. This time is get part way through and stops at a different place.

It acts like as though I hit the key board or pushed in the emergency stop button. Nope. It did this on it's own. The screen has the flashing stop and the number coordinates continue to scroll down the box.

Does any one have a clue.

I had this happen when I switched to the windows software. I download the latest version and have not had it happen since.

I'll look to see if I have the latest Shopbot software. Perhaps this will solve the problem. I've been running XP Pro for some a few months, along with the SB windows program.

This particular job is a 14'X5' panel that is rather complex and is due Dec. 24, for a grand opening. Another fine fix I've gotten myself in. It will take a couple of days to apply the 24K, so I'm up againt it again.

If you were closer I'd cut it for you to get you by. Too late to do any kind of shipping and still make it in time.

I made it through the job. Sure was upset at the router.
