    Default Trupan feed rates

Can someone suggest feed rates for cutting sign blanks from Trupan. I am running a PRT Alpha wtih 5HP spindel. I plan on using a v-bit to bevel the edge and a 1/4 compression bit to cut the rest. Thanks in advance

    Todd,
For a 1/4" up-spiral I went 4 ips at 1200 rpms to v-carve and pocket a college logo for a friend. I used a 3/8" straight bit at 1200 rpms at 5 ips to cutout some speaker cases. Both is Trupan. Hope this helps.

Yep, 12,000 rpms. Sorry about that Todd.

    Thanks for catching that Gerald.
