    Default Adding an hour meter

I would like to add an hour meter to my control box. When I turn the power on and hit the reset button it would start. Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks,
    Glen

Easily done, just find a meter that runs on the power that your drivers use. When the drivers are powered (the reset button has been pushed) the meter will run.

Look for "hour meters" on the web. They come in various types, you will be looking for a "voltage" driven type with the voltage being supplied by the driver power.

Alternatively, much less hassle, have you looked at the shopbot generated log file (SbSys.Log)? It has the run time for everything, including what file it was, and whether it completed etc.

The log file is found in the folder:

    C:\Program Files\ShopBot\ShopBot 3\Bin

You can open it with notepad, or any other text viewer.

    Glen...
Or you could visit the ShopBot Labs section of their website and download the free odometer that tracks usage hours. http://www.shopbottools.com/LabFiles/odometer.htm
