    Default Family sign

This was made for my BIL. I cropped the original photo in photoshop, then I used Aspire for the rest. It is made on a cutting board purchased from Lowes.

    Cool...

    What size is it?

How long did it take to cut?

How are you going to finish it?

    Cheers,

    RB

My BIL plans on giving it to his wife for xmas, so I suggested that he seal it first, then paint the letters with a color that will allow them to stand out. I told him to just leave the house alone after it is sealed. He wants to hang the name of his children from it as they come along. The overall size is 11.5" x 16". I also made him an address sign for him to paint out of .75" corian. It is 7" x 15".

Pretty Cool. The butcher block cut real nice.

What bit, feed and speed did you use for the corian?

I used an 1/8" double fluted end mill ran at 12k. My cut speeds were 3"/sec and 1" ramp.
