Default Used software on used machine?

I am looking at a used shopbot and have a question for those that have bought used machines. Can you purchase the software that they have purchased (3d and the basic stuff), or does more money have to be paid to transfer ownership?

That is up to the software company. Usually you only paying the price to use the software, you never actually "own" it. If you are a real stickler you could call them. If it were me I would just use the software that was sold to me given it wouldn't cause me any problems getting support or getting updates.

Vectric will transfer the name on the license to the new owner for a very small fee.

As Ben said, Vectric will transfer their software to a 3rd party for a fee. I just did this last year when I bought my machine used. They charged $75 to transfer Vcarve Pro and Photo Vcarve to my name. I am glad that I did because I was able to upgrade to Aspire for the reduced rate.
