    Default Brass Plate Hold Down

I've got a prospective job cutting Brass plate .02 12" X 12" see attachment the circles are 2" with a hole .172. I am having problems with hold down.(I've got a vacuum table) Any suggestion? I thought about screwing it down with the hole that has to be drilled, but, that will bend the brass. 250 of these to do.

Jimmy, I've had a lot of success with 3M 77 spray adhesive. When finished you can release by flooding with enamel reducer such as Dupont 3812 and they will float off.

Jimmy, you might want to consider the spray adhesive to a substrate like a 1/4" sheet of mdf or something like sintra(non pourous) the size of one vac zone, then vac down the temporary spoil board so you have plenty of surface area to hold the base 1/4" sheet with the brass applied to it, then just cut the pieces through.
Or depending on your vac system make specific "pucks" to hold but you don't have much surface area so the adhesive or maybe carpet tape will be worth trying.
I think I like the adhesive though especially if you can release easily with reducer. That's why I suggest a secondary spoil board so you can remove from the vac table and handle the secondary operation without worrying about your primary spoil board.
