I am putting together a new computer to hook to my "new to me" PRT Alpha. What would be the best operating system to put on it? I am a little partial to Win 2K, but I will do whatever is best.

Don if you have any doubts look on this forum under "vista" and all you see is "how to work around this or that problem".
XP it is. You can always "downgrade" vista to XP although MS is trying to force vista on the world and imply it is the only option available, its not.
Maybe someday the folks at SB will support linux or the mac... then the vista problems would go away.
