Default 1st original Aspire work - 2nd Aspire project

I posted this over on Vectric and decided to post here too. I had used Aspire and their included art for another sign, but I built the violin on this plaque from a picture - using the Aspire tools. A local church is presenting it to the violinist.

The details on the violin are GREAT! Tell us how you did that? How do you take a photograph and make that, then give it that depth and detail? Good Job....

    Jack,
On the violin, I imported the picture, then using the Draw Curve tool, I just traced around each element that I wanted to create as a component (like the body, the neck, each string, etc. Then, after they were components, I manipulated, tilted, smoothed, and merged them until I got the end product. Then I saved that whole thing as a 3d model and imported it in when I was making the plaque. I did take me a lot longer than it should have, but I am new at this.
