I hear there is a guy on the Eastern Shore that designs and cuts stuff..... Try and find him.

I think you should have a floating coup. Tie it up out back.

I like the linking logs idea myself.

    Angus,

Not sure how extensive of a coup you are looking for but here is the latest picture I found of mine. I'll be happy to send you my drawing files and take new pics but I built it the old fashion way (much more fun with an 11 year old). I've got other designs for mobile coups with runs that are really nice in case you are looking for that.

Christian...thats not a chicken coop...thats a chicken mansion! We haven't heard from you lately. I'm surprised that the chicken coop doesn't have some nice columns out front. I'd be interested in some of your chicken coops as i have an old lady who wants me to make her some chicken coops and since i will be donating most/all of it i'd like to see what you have.

    Jack,

Check out this site first to get your ideas together. If you need more info email me directly and I'll get you some additional ones I've designed.

I just built one. I was going to use my Shopbot but ended up making it the old fashioned way. It cost me $130.00. The canvas is scrap banners from my sign shop
It is 4 x 12 feet with 4 nesting boxes. I drag it around and let the chickens eat the grass under it.
