    Bob,
I have no heat or insulation in my shop but I went out and bought one of those "Reddyheaters", you know the one that looks and sounds like the back of a f-16 and within 5 minutes i'm working in a Tshirt in 30 degree weather.

I have a little heater that is propane fired and does fine but there is oder from the exhaust which sometimes bothers me.

Because the shop is on the back of the garage and it is attached to the house, I "can" run Pex from the house, through the garage (heavily insulated to contain heat) and then into the shop using standard force hot water registers for about $400... I will definitely have heat next year because I will want to be in a production mode by that time. This would also keep the equipment at an even temperature.

My little heater (Mr. heat) will get me into the 50 degree environment in 20 minutes and 70 in 30 minutes... It is VERY noisy to have it on while working in there...and the dog will not come into the shop when it is running because of the noise...

Angus has something similar to that for the garage. The shop itself is heated (I think!) but the garage where the bot is is freezing if he doesn't have the heater on.

And yes, the noise is deafening!

I don't have any weather related issues. I just set my Bot up in the living room. It worked great for a couple of hours but then I started getting a high pitched scream. Scared me to death. I thought I had cut into a rail or something. When I hit the emergency off switch I discovered that it was just my wife getting home from work. :-)

    Merry Christams everyone!!!

    Jim,

as a friend would say... "And he did even hear his wife pull the trigger"

Merry Christmas ... time to make a couple of joke gifts on the fly with the Bot for people at work...

Those shots reminded me immediately of "Christmas Story". Merry Christmas Jaqueline and Angus.

MERRY CHRISTMAS guys and gals. And thanx for the help so far and all that I'm sure I'll need in the future.

So do I call Dianne and tell her my lamp was missing?

My room heater first care for itself and heat itself for 10minutes...we see it with trimbling legs...then it care for us and humbly spread the heat across
