    Default ETemplate photo

    Has anyone used eTemplate system www.etemplatesystem.com ? It seems like a great idea.
    But, like most great ideas = big $$$$.
    I was wondering if there is an less expensive solution to achieve similar results?

    There was a similar plug-in for Rhino announced a few weeks ago but the website seems dead now....

    It's $10,000+++
    I checked out rhino ,seems similar,but your right,
    there is no further information.I'm interested in using it to measure cabinetry installations primarily.It might help in fitting custom cabinets.
    Anything to save a "little" time .

    What is your intended use? We do stone, engineered quartz, and solid surface countertops. We've done a lot of research into the subject and the ProLiner seems to have the best utility in a real-world implementation. We bought an LT-55 laser templater, but frankly, the user interface is difficult and it's all based on establishing a central reference point before measuring. If the tripod gets bumped, the measurements will be incorrect.

    The ProLiner can be relocated quickly and easily around a kitchen to do individual cabinet groups as it is immediately self-referent.

    Yes, indeed, they're all rather expensive.

    Thanks for the information Brett

    I would use it to template/measure cabinetry installations
    Curved or odd openings for mouldings.Just about any measuring I do for my custom woodwork.
