Here is a project my woods class is working on. This mass production unit has been a wonderful lesson for the kids as well as a money maker for the department.

Ben, is that made of the Trex (synthetic lumber) stuff?

It is made of Trex. It's nice because the school can put any size liner inside that they like. We did a trial run last Spring and since they held up, they've had us build a bunch more.

Are you gluing the Trex in some way, or all they screwed or what. They look great!

We used a combination of construction adhesive and screws. We countersunk everything and so far, so good.
