Default Top 10 reasons NOT to purchase a ShopBot (humor)

I've only been a botter for a week now... but it occurs to me that there are plenty of reasons not to buy this machine...

Help me fill in the blanks, and maybe have a laugh at the same time...

    10. With ShopBot, you might miss the hours it use to take in your shop cutting parts for a project.

    9. All the ShopBot tech support and open discussion forums bog you down.

    8. You'd rather keep all that junk you've not touched in 3 years than lose one set of storage shelves to make room for a ShopBot.

    7. You've explained to your wife how complicated making bookshelves really is... and you don't want to take the risk of her seeing how easy the ShopBot does the job.

    1. Cutting by the numbers is for sissys! Real men use a handsaw.

Handsaw?! Real men use chisels and mallets. Real-real men chew the parts out with their teeth.

Blue just does not go with my figure and complexion.
Laying out lettering for hand carving is a pleasure not to be easily done away with.
Repeating the same part 50 times, cutting by hand, makes you an expert on that part.

Because I want to cut 170 of these with a hand-held router:

(We actually did make 170 of these last month)

If you only made 170... why on earth would you want a bot... a good man with a hammer and chisel could have knocked those out for you in say... 3 or 4 weeks.

You loose that intamacy you once had with a sheet of plywood since you no longer have to handle it 50 FREAKIN TIMES to get your cabinet parts.

LOL... I was just thinking yesterday how I missed lifting, turning, sliding, marking, measuring, cutting, remeasuring, recutting plywood. I might just have to go for some personal time today with a few sheets... nahhh.
