Default Tear Drop Camping trailer plans

I have been considering this project since I got my shopbot. Tonight I found a couple of web sites with great information, including some FREE plans with DXF files, so I thought I would share.

Has anyone taken this type of project on?

I've not, but I have always been charmed by those things.

    Ditto.
Teardrops are one of many CNC projects I've considered and placed on the back burner until I have the time/money/focus to do.
Just got back from a tiny house building workshop in beautiful Sonoma County California where we tent camped 10 of the 12 nights my wife, daughter and I were on our 4,265 mile vacation.
So now I've got tiny houses simmering back there with the teardrops.
Too bad I have to get back to work and pay the bills.

I've been hooked. I can't stop thinking about making one of these trailers. It would be a fun project this winter. A guy could get really get carried away in personalizing one, It would be fun to see.

Thanks to everyone for the inspiration. I will certainly post anything that might happen.

I am sure that Gabe Pari would be able to say that there is alot of work to actually get one off the ground.

    Robert,

I'm like you. I have a large rv but the little teardrop trailers look so cool and I have always wanted to build one so bad. I would love to learn more about building one. If you need any help or support so that we all can learn more count me in. I'm going to check out some of the websites above and see what happens.

    Hi Jay,

I have built several teardrops, one is a camper and another is a cargo trailer.
