    Default Wavy Scarf File

I'm trying to track down the file for plywood wavy scarfs, but am not having any luck. I can't find anything on 100k Garages or the Shop Bot site. Any suggestions what I'm doing wrong?

    Charles:

Like you, I knew I had seen something somewhere about scarf joints on the bot web sight... Here's what I came up with

    http://www.shopbottools.com/mApplica...atbuilding.htm
    http://seaside5592.blogspot.com/2005...ped-scarf.html

The second is a link from ShopBot to Bill Young's blog.

By Goggling CNC Scarf joints I found a few more references but nothing any more helpful

    Hope this helps

All the files used to be over on www.100kgarages.com but since i looked at it last, it has been all redesigned and i don't see where the files used to be for download. I looked all thru my files but couldn't find them.

It's taking a little time to get everything migrated over to the refreshed 100kGarages website, but here's a temporary link to the Wavy Scarfer to tide you over until it's made the move.

Thanks Bill. Please ignore the e-mail I sent you. As soon as I know a bit more about the scarfs I need for the Stambaugh boat, I'll be using the utility and downloading the cut files.

No wonder I couldn't find it...i thought it was a standalone app like some of the other utilities you have made...

Just to make it a little easier to find, you can also find it at www.wavyscarf.com

    Default issues and questions

    Bill, and group,

I am running the files created by this link in preview mode...

I am getting a Variable Error on line 29
    Invald expression (&wavRad*2; 0)

i looked it up in the ShopBot Editor but nothing jumped out at me....

Also am I controlling my speed of my machine with my Move Speeds inputs at the Control Console????

    using a safe Z height of 1.75 on a 1.5 inch material

asking for a nominal material value/// can this be explained?

Thanks in advance for your help, I apologize for my lack of knowledge, but wish to further my abilities with the ShopBot machine....

    Parker
