    I like my setup where the dust boot stays at the height I set it and not go up and down with the spindle.

    Looks like you made that - good job! Where do you get the bristles? That looks like the hard part.

    I started out with the original shoe and then made my own. The brushes you can get from Mcmaster Carr. I have since changed the style a little that works better. To change the bit I just raise the spindle and the boot stays on the matereial. you can set it to just touch or have some pressure or even ride above the material. once set it stays.
