Default 12" in SB = 8 5/16 in the real world

I have a PRS96 shipped in FEB 08 from SB.

Where are the settings to make SB know about the real world. I have recently rebuilt the box that my SB3 is on and after hours of cleaning the gears, rails and re-greasing. Trying to find out why my PRS is 'losing' steps ... I discover the only one losing steps is me. argh.

both x and y are off by the same amount. I have not measured the z. M2 12,12 moves the head to 8 5/16,8 5/16

    My thanks in advance,

    Default

OK, The issue was in the unit values:

    They needed to be
    X&Y -1833.4650
    Z 2291.8310

    All the multipliers to 1
    They were all 4 ???

Anyway now 12" in the software = 12" in the real world.
