Default Herky Jerky for me too...

I've recently purchased some 3d files from Vector 3d. I'm able to run them OK but the files seem to take twice as long as they should. I have other 3d files from ArtCam Pro and it runs really smooth... the ones from Vector 3d run really herky jerky. I'm suspecting that I need to adjust the ramp up/down speeds but I'm a part-time shopbooter and don't know where to begin.

    Please help me... Thanks,
    Bill

Call James. His files usually have a great deal of detail resulting in very short movements and hence may cut quite a bit slower than other files not quite so refined. An analysis would take a very specific comparison of design and all toolpathing parameters.

Bill, drop me an email with some more info about the settings you are using and the specific problems and we will try and trouble shoot it. We have not had any other reported problems like this so I am interested to see what might be causing this, drop me a line at jab(at)carve3d(dot)com

    Thanks,
    James
