I would not want one of my grandchildren in that bed, elevated bed and toddler don't go together IMHO.

under toddler beds it says close to the ground. the way my toddler rolls out of bed at night I would re think it. but it is a fun design for a kid
Interesting design. However, I would not want my grandson (age 3) in it. I just made a toddler bed for him (not using CNC). Top of the mattress was about 11 inches above the floor.
Changing dimensions on this could result in a nice design for a college dorm room. Elevated bed. Room below for a small desk and possible a book shelf. That might be something to try with this design.
