Angry shopbot present but not responding

Hi all, Same as the story normally goes....., I cut something on friday, everything was working fine. Turned off the controll box and pc. Monday morning and now it doesnt want to work. I have re-installed the drivers. Re-installed software. Replaced usb cable. Updated to the newest drivers. Turned the box of and on again. Checked the reset button on the controll box. I keep getting the same error : shopbot seems to be present but is not responding???????? Yes I did also check the USB drivers and load new firmware when re-installing.

Has anyone had this problem? I urgently need to get back up and running..

    I agree...

Some USB hubs are flaky and some work at 1st then die shortly after. First, make sure your USB cable is 12' or under. Then pull out the USB hub. Plug SB USB into computer. Try to connect to SB3 that way. If successful, close SB3 and run the SpeedTest.exe in the ProgramFiles\ShopBot\ShopBot3\Diagnostic folder. If you are greater than 70% go cut. If less, go buy another self-powered USB hub. Any will do...RadioShack, Walmart, Staples, etc. Plug it in and SpeedTest.exe again.
