I have been getting "limit switch hit" pop up windows on the y axis. They are random, but occur every 4 or 5 moves. If I turn the limits off it works fine. The red light is on, and the targets still work. The indicator button on the screen turns solid yellow just as occurs. Has anyone has this problem?

Ken, Had the same problem but with both X and Y random trips. Ran for a long time with the limits disabled. Got the new, latest and greatest prox switches from ShopBot. Hasn't happened since I've installed the new ones. [Keeping Fingers Crossed for a little longer]

Ken,
Pretty new.... got them about 3 months ago. I got my machine a year ago this past Jan.

I have replaced all 4 of my prox switches with the new ones from ShopBot. They virtually eliminated all of my erroneous prox hits. I am not sure of the exact date they went into production, but it was somewhere around 2nd quarter 2009. ShopBot sells these singles and pairs.

August I had a heck of a time wondering what happened and ended up spending 80.00 for a new Y prox switch. needless to say it fixed all the errors I was having from stopping short of my 0,0 datum to the darn lights on the control board.
