I have a picture of a rosette that is 3d and a nice project to make. I can import the picture as a bitmap but am confused as to the next step. Where can I get the best instructions as to the next step. I am importing the bitmap into Aspire. Thanks

If it's a decent quality picture I usually use the "create component from selected bitmap" to make the initial component.
I then copy that into the working model, delete the original component and start working with the sculpting tools to correct any areas that don't look quite right.

Adrian, thanks for the reply. I will try to do what you suggested. The picture is of a very good quality. Is that to say that from a bitmap I can get a 3d image?

Yes, I find converted images don't have enough relief for my tastes but a bit of fiddling with the component height normally gets something in the ball park.
For someone who is as artistically challenged as me it's a lot better starting point than trying to do it from scratch.
