Our business uses Corel X4 for our laser cuter but it doesn't have any sbp file producing capibility. I do sometimes use X4 to manipulate DXF vector files and then import them into Aspire. X4 has a much more robust tool selection for working with vector lines. Although I do swear by Aspire, Corel X4 has saved my tail a few times.
Corel has always been good like that. Lots of tools, import export options etc. A really good value especially considering the price.
Note: Corel stocks where recently taken off the stock market for being too low in value...

I discovered a very important thing this past summer with CorelDRAW (X3 in my case). The same dxf file cut on the ShopBot is offset a small amount when cut on the laser. I don't know why this happens, but from then on any project that started on the 'bot and went to the laser for final processing was printed to the laser from AutoCAD.

Gene you where not leaving an outline on the vectors by any chance?
I would try highlighting everything and remove the outline on the whole file.
You probably know this but I thought I would see...

Gene, that is interesting. I will have to try it and see if X4 does the same mysterious offset.
