Nice. What was the software, machine time rough/finish and bits? What tools do you use for sanding touch-up?And what is the actual size?

Project was done in Aspire. The ring design was purchased from VactorArt3d.com
24"x18"x0.9"
finish pass with a 1/4" ballnose - 1 hour @ 6ips
rest machining pass with a 1/16" ballnose - 20 minutes @ 6ips
90 degree v-bit for text - 20 minutes @ 2ips
1/4" downspiral for area clear and cutout - 30 minutes @ 2ips
roundover on the router table

The wood grain in the upper half was quite wild and I did have an issue with tear out during the 1/4" 3D pass. The tear out was 1/8" deep and about 3" long. I adjusted the design the remove the area that had the tear out.

Next I will apply some sanding sealer
Sand with a 3M ScotchBrite wheel and a Dremel pad
Apply a seal coat of lacquer
Use a cabernet gel stain
apply lacquer.

I'm not sure if I will do any metal guilding
