Mantle Clock

I posted the clock faces now here are the completed clocks. One important change - the carved elements are now made from solid surface counter top material rather than MDF.

I like these because the tone-on-tone is so subtle compared to the MDF. They look so much richer this way!

Very cool looking Terry. What thickness corian(?)
are you using? You might want to experiment with using .25 corian and sticking some cold cathode lighting behind the face to have it light up and the dial face would would have detail like a lithopane.
That is a very clean nice look. Good job.

Mike- Thanks I think the solid colors really give the carving a spotlight.

Jack - It's 1/2" corian and I have already experimented as you suggested and it looks nice - but most folks don't want a corded clock these days.
