There was a thread about horizontol lines in 3d carving. I've searched and read through all the forums but can't seem to find it. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Bob

Bob,
that picture you see in that thread was mine. That was a 3d carving with a 10% stepover. I reduced my stepover to 7% and now they need almost no sanding and all the lines are gone. It will add to your overall cut time but tis worth it.

Thanks Jack, I run a 9 percent stepover and never had this. I only noticed it when i added dust collection and cut the bar (on a prt dual z) to fit it in.
