Terry,

What material did you cut it out of? Was it MDF?
Thanks

Foam - the blue stuff - EPS I believe.

That looks like an old bronze piece. I bet people are surprised when they pic it up to find out its lightweight foam and not heavy copper or brass. Very nice.

Thanks Nils.
Jack - You are right - I am still surprised!
Sculpt Nouveau is good stuff.

Terry, what did you use to prepare the surface? one of the sculpt nouveau primers? if so which one? their site seems to assume that you will be starting with a metal substrate.

Chris,
I used two coats of Zinzer water based sealer but I am not certain that it was necessary. I am anxious to try this again with another piece and I will probably use MDF.

Hi Terry!

Just noticed this post of yours. FYI to others, I had Terry make this up for me and I must say, it was a pleasure working with you, very professional and responsive.

BTW, client really liked the model. Now if only I can do that!

Good job,

Rudy

Thanks for reminding me of this project Rudy! Now that I am unemployed, I am looking for new things to try with my machine. I will definitely add this to my list!

Bot on!

Mike
