Digitizer for handrail

Just wondering does any one have any info on where i would get
a reasonable priced 3d digitizing set for on site surveying of handrail for curved stairs etc?.

Are you asking for the cost of the equipment?...we spent around 20k for our systems

What make do you use?.Do you use the long arm type digitizer with the probe at the end of it or is there a smaller more versitile 3d system.
