I have a G202 that I took out of another system and am using it to replace a driver that is on a Shopbot with a G4 upgrade. The drivers that are on the Shopbot are Rev.15. and the replacement I have is a Rev. 14. When I place the G202 Rev. 14 onto the control board I get a power supply voltage of 58 volt. The correct voltage I get from the other drivers is 68 volts. Is there an adjustment to increase the driver voltage pass through? The system seems to perform correctly, but the drive motor with Rev. 14 G202 does seem to be louder that the others.

Thanks and I look forward to your reply,

Mark

If you take the cover off of the 202 there are some jumpers that need to be set.

The best way would be to look at your old one to see where those jumpers were set at and put your replacement to the same settings.

There is a white knob access you can turn with a screwdriver. I would set that the same as well and see how she likes it.

on any stepper drive what goes in should be what goes out, WHEN it
is running the motor. At idle your output voltage can vary,
The trim pot does not adjust voltage, but the wave form
Have you tried running machine yet? It will probably be fine.
Don't forget the proper resistor for your motors rated current
