Well, I must say all the information in this Forum is amazing. We have folks that use shopbots for everything, and we all get the benefit from it. I mean we have users that make: Cabinets, Doors, Mouldings, Mantles, Indexers, Signs, contract manufacturing, Parts and just plain old inventions! And we all share with each other! I can't think of any other place on earth where we can get so much information just by reading/listening. All this info makes it easy to think outside the box. And we even have one guy who doesn't seem to have a box, Mr. Kalhid Khattak. He never fails to amaze me with his work and inventive spirit. When I can't figure something out, here I come. It feels like talking to old friends. I can casually mention to someone asking how I did that project; Oh, a buddy that lives in Florida (now UP), or a expert in Norman,OK, or that good old boy in Texas and that guy in Ohio showed me how. Stuck with a texture or Toolpath, well here comes Mr. Tim M. showing me step by step how to perform magic with my Software! I can get tips on Counters, Jewelry boxes and even Bat Houses! Why am I writing this, to say a loud and heartfelt;
THANK YOU all.
If I missed some of you, it is not intentional, but space limitations. The newbies and lurkers are a help to us all, they reinforce what we have learned from others,and are happy to pass it along. Remember, there is only one dumb question; the one you do not ask! I didn't just buy a machine, I got the secret handshake, the address of the after-hours club, the path out of the maze. It would take a real effort to fail with all this help. Great Machine, Great Company and even greater help and Friendship.
:cool:Thank again all, I hope it all keeps on keeping on.

speaking of amazing, does anyone know what Khalid Khattak has been up to? I don't think he's posted since the forum changed over. I always loved to see his projects and McGyver type ingenuity.
