Hey Botters
Have had my PRS Alpha for a year and a half and this is what we created
Base sign is 1" thick PVC and the Turtle, Pelican and Microscope are .50" PVC that have been stud mounted and siliconed to the base.
For Paint we used Tigh-Bond Adhesive promoter and all Mathews automotive grade paint with hardener. All components were then clear coated though before assembly. The clear coat was hardened as well.
We V-Carve the inside of the large letters and then hogged out the surrounding area to give it a raised indented look. In the sun the sign has all kinds of effect with shadows.
The mounting stand was fabricated and engineered out of .125 and .50 aluminum. This was bolted using J bolt's to the footing
