Control Software 'Hiding'

Not a new issue, but a persistent one: Many times when I try to open the control software, nothing opens or shows up on the screen. I go into the Task Manager, where the application does show up, select it, 'End Task', re-open it and it normally works fine. Not clear why this happens, but it's been going on for a while, and still happens for me with 3.6.18.

Same thing happens here. Thought it might be a XP home issue

I am running 3.6.16, it doesnt do it as often as earlier versions, but it still does that also.

Double checked, and I'm actually only running 3.6.17 Beta 10. Will try 3.6.18 and post back if it's still happening...

My guess is that in Dana'a case 3.6.18 may fix it and Nat will find that he is not running 3.6.18 :D

Is it possible that you guys are using some kind of multiple desktop switcher? I always use one (WindowsPager), but on occasion I have had the problem where the console and spindle control position settings have been set to a position way off screen. When that happens, I have to go into the registry and change them back to what they should be.

Haven't had it happen for a while now and definitely not since 3.6.18

I had been doing a lot of testing verious versions an was pretty sure it wasnt 3.6.18 tho!
