I know everyone has their own opinion but is there any consensus as to the best cutter for the money, for cutting 3/4" melamine sheet goods?? We currently use a mortise compression as we are cutting 1/4" deep pockets in the cabinet parts also.
Prices seem to vary all over the place and we have always used a well known brand that is getting quite expensive thes days. We are just looking for a good cost effective alternative.

Thanks guys,

Tom in PA

We have been using Centurion. We cut 3/4 using a 1/4 compression in two passes. The bits stand up very well. The customer support is GREAT. Call Fred and order a couple. You will be satisfied, I'm sure!
