machining metallic paints

A customer has requested metallic paint for a plywood chair.
Has anyone machined this type of paint
I'm concerned about the metal flakes tearing while cutting.
I need a nice clean edge otherwise it'll look horrible
Also how hard on the compression bits it will be.
