I am about to cut some 1/4 copper sheet, don't know which alloy
it is a logo and some text with some "strokes of .08.
I keep putting this job off because I am sure these narrow sections will "push" right at the end as I cut thru
I have set up for a single flute 1/8 bit 15K rpm feedrate .8 second .03 per pass. with the mister fluid wide open.
should I also add some tabs near the thin sections?

Although I have been cutting a lot of aluminum sheets for years this is my first go at such thick copper.

thanks
Carl

never needed cooling with copper. I have epoxied it down and that works well for the small pieces I need to cut. then heat it with a propane torch and they pop off. I have cut super then parts that way that come to a small tapered point. the parts were a spiral that tapered to nothing.
