I am in the middle of hooking up my "off brand" 3kw spindle.
I have it set up to be remote switched and that is working fine. I can power it on and off with a relay.
I also have an option to have a 0 to 10 volt reference control the hz from 0 to 400 hz (spindle speed)
I have two questions.
What size cable (30 ft) would be good for the run between the spindle and vfd? I am thinking 16 guage based on the wire size that came in the plug. I'm not sure I can find shielded cable locally, but I am going to try.
Do you think the 0-10 volt source is possible from the 'bot?
