We routed our first pocket last night. I designed the cut to require a bit change and it went off without a hitch.
I mounted the plywood table and bolted it down, by the way my 5 year old Grand Daughter puts the nuts and washers on the bolts under the table that I couldn't reach. She had a ball and it saved me having to crawl under there.
I plan to put a temp table in place this weekend and try a few projects to get a feel for the Bot. Ryan at Shopbot is going to send me some longer rails for my Shopbot. The tool changer will prevent me from doing a full 4 x 8 until the longer rails are in place.
This would be a good time to brag on the tech support. I didn't even think about the problem with rails until Ryan mentioned that they had been doing some research on the subject and decided the tool changer would eat up some of the room and require longer rails. They are shipping them to me and I am supposed to have them next week.
I want to thank everybody here on the forum for your suggestions and support. I am just getting started so I know I will still have a bunch of questions.
