As I was drawing up my illustrations to show, to ask for help figuring out what went wrong, I saw what was wrong (i think) so i am going to post here for some of the newbies to show that even some of us more experienced users screw up and the lesson i learned is

PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS!!!

I was cutting the grout details for the castle wall.
Z zero is center of material.
The cutting area was 48x65
So what do i do? I measured 65, divide that by 2 to come up with 32.5.
Then to complicate it i decide since one of my vacumns isn't coming on that the vac won't hold it and i decide to move the Zzero center 5" down in the X to allow for clamps.

start the file, watch it and it is making bricks where the drawbridge cutout should be, so halfway thru i stopped it.

Now i have to move the "grid" of groutlines down in the X so they match up with the perimeters of the drawbridge door and cover that area with brick.
I can cover the whole face with groutlines again (as long as they match up with whats there) and then just pocket cut the door in the center.

If anyone can look at this and offer a different solution (other then starting over with a new piece of plywood) i'd love to hear it.

Since it appears that the plywood you are using is basic fir from the lumber or big orange store I would start over and do it right. You will not be able to diguise the portcullis outline that is also in the wrong place.
If your vacuum isn't working next time just screw it down where you won't be cutting.

I was working for hours to realign the vectors and try to redo it without much success so what i am going to do is design a larger shield object and pocket out the profile in the plywood and insert it in the field to hide most of the bad place. I designed a drawbridge door complte with rivets and I might use that.I will 3d carve this out of mdf and insert it. It is what it is....

The problem was instead of starting my Zzero at the center of material (24y48x) I set it for the center of the part to be cut (32.5"x) and then to complicate it i decided to add 5" to make room for clamps. NEVER WORK TIRED....YOU MAKE STUPID MISTAKES...

Jack: You must be retired. You are the only person I have ever known that would work for hours to save a $30.00 piece of plywood except for a couple of guys who worked for me and actually told me proudly how they "saved" something that cost that kind of money but ended up getting 3 hours wages out of it!! (Needless to say they only got to do that once or twice or before they were looking for work elsewhere!!;)
