I'm not in the cabinet trade, I'm just updating my own kitchen.
I'd like to use some of the newer Blum type, soft closing garage door hinges.
I'm wondering if there's somewhere I can download the correct hinge profiles with setbacks, drilling points etc. without dropping a pile of money on software for what will hopefully be a " one off " project.
I've tried looking online but perhaps I'm using the wrong terminology?
Thanks if you can help! - Boyd

Boyd...

I have found the tech specs and installation guides for all my Blum hardware online at : www.blum.com (http://www.blum.com) you will need to know the product name and model.

When you say "garage door" do you know what model you are looking at?

Boyd , you can get what you need at the Richelieu site . Select the hinge type and weight and go to technical specifications page . If this is sitting on a counter remember to leave some space below the door so it doesn't rub .

These guys also sell many of the Blum jigs in case you want to drill it when it is installed to be sure . www.ahturf.com (http://www.ahturf.com)

Good Luck , Bill

Hi Erminio, things are very well . I have never been busier . Starting to offload some installation which is making a big difference . Hope things have picked up some for you . We are hearing Wall street bonus' have rebounded nicely to 'nornal' levels so hopefully they are spending again with the local craftsman :)

All the best for the holidays and in the new year to all.

Thanks fellas' I'll take another look online.
Gary I don't know the model number yet.
I bought a couple of Ikea (sorry) cabinets for our new laundry room that use the same type of hinge, the hinges are made by Blum and I'm quite impressed with their perfomance.
Our construction department at work does quite a bit of business with Richeleu, I'll have a look at their products too.- Boyd
