PTR Alpha Tables sides with 12 inch Z

i have a prt alpha with a 12 inch Z . my problem is how do i connect the 2 tables sides that are stacked one on top the next. the bottom is bolted to the legs and 5 other pts , whille the top is only bolted to the legs . leading to the middle flexing a tiny bit.
