Is anyone using one of these Doughty Drives; in particular the B?C drive or the trunnion table?

Some time ago I was told the price was very low by comparison with other industrial units. It does look a little light but I suppose that depends on what one is trying to do and how quickly.

The interesting question is whether the Shopbot control program and the Vectric/Partworks programs can take advantage of it.

Do a google search for "5 axis shopbot" and there was several links. I know i saw a video somewhere but didn't look that far for it.

Thanks Jack, I've followed these and various other threads and forums from time to time and noticed that there are a number of people interested in this capability at a reasonable cost so I posted this for general interest as well as my own.

Hopefully, we'll find someone with specific experience with or knowledge of this particular one. The 5-axis head looks a little light but then their video shows it working with a spindle attached.
