did this in aspire. I still don't like the shape of the head but it was just something to play with.

Steve,

Are you able to get thick foam where you live or did you glue that up?

I am only able to get pink foam up to 3/4" thick. I need to find out what glue would bind them together without destroying them, so I can make thicker projects...

So, if you glued them up, can you tell me what trhe material is?

Thanks...

Monty

You can use that to change bits on your machine.

both the borg and lowes has the 2" here. any water based adhesive like contact cement should work.

Wow...I hear that from so many people.
I figger...It gets cold here and there (((is))) was a lot of home construction.
We can buy Dow or Corning foam 2" thick , 4 x 8 sheet for $20-$22 per sheet and very common in my area.

I don't think pink or blue makes any difference.
We can also get white but sunlight beats it up.

I love it, Steve!
Now you need a super sized foam gear box to throw the wrench into.

Steve, Thats a really cool sample piece. If Snapon made wrench that big just imagine what it would cost!

Maybe prime it with latex and top with the silver hammertone paint?.. from a little distance it might look very convincing. Maybe silver leaf!

Cool idea and well done. What brand foam is that? Does it have a face of some sort or is the printing right on the foam surface?

Steve, I saw that drawing earlier, I think this week, somewhere on one of these forums. Can you point me in the correct direction? Thanks!

it was last week on the vectric site. I used his idea and just did it. this just the foam the borg sells. but I just cut one from mdf that would finish much better.
