The American Cowboy was carved for one of my customers as a gift to his mother. The carving is hanging in the main house of a working horse ranch in California. The piece was carved in 2" thick pine. The customer supplied the material and he finished. This is one of 3 that I've cut for him. The model is from vectorart3d.com.

Looks great Andy. I really like the finish, what is it?

Champion Andy,

This kind of work makes me feel good all over. That's not only because it's done on wood, but the image is so far beyond the ability of others who don't have a CNC.

What Andy has shown us is how creative work is within all our grasp.

Thanks everyone for the comments.

Jack the finish is Autumn Oak from Gemini Coatings (I believe) then clear coated.

Cut in slabs with bark still on the slab.
Cut with the pocket models from Vector Art.
Stagecoach is a little over 6 feet long.
Deer in the Valley is a little over 7 feet long.
You never know what they are going to look like until the rough cut is done then you can go deeper if you want to push your luck;-)
Not to mention you have to pull a few tricks off to level the slab by reverse surfacing the back of the slab so the bark is as parallel to the table top as you can get it.
