I have a library of g-codes and want to convert them to .sbp's. The only way I can think of converting is using AutoCAD and converting the .dxf to the .sbp, but it would waste a lot of time.

I found the .sbp to gcode program at, http://www.shopbotprojectwizard.com/pw/products.aspx?product=32 but it only goes one direction.

Anyone have any suggestions as how to convert my gcode library to .sbp's?

There is a utility built in to the Shopbot Control software that will import and convert gcode to sbp.

Here is link to a list of G-code commands supported by the shopbot control software

I don't know if theres any reason you could not just use the G-Code. My understanding is that the SBCode is a superset of GCode.

The ecabinet link for the shopbot outputs G code and the bot runs it. I'm not sure if it's special for the link or not. I would plug in a file and see what happens. I think you would need the lastest sb3 sofware though. I doubt that the older versions support it.

What is the filename extension on the files you want to convert? It will run/convert these filetypes gcc, tap nc, agc

In the control software type FC
