Is there an easy way to print settings that a person has made? In other words how do I print settings, example VR settings, that I use so I can save them in a paper file so if something goes south I have a paper backup?

Daryl...
[R] [A] to enable recording
Make your settings changes
[R] [S] to save your recorded lines
Accept default or name file.
Open in editor
Print
Once I have my settings the way I like, I save a file using [U] [S] which save all settings including speeds, widow sizes, etc.

A couple of other ideas...
I often use "Alt-Print Screen" to save a copy of any given fill-in sheet (which subsequently can be printed).
...and for a brief view of most everything on one page, find, open, and print your shopbot.ini file. Mine is located in the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ShopBot\ShopBot 3

Try the US command - [U]tiliities, [S]ave Current Settings to a Custom Settings File.
This saves a .sbd file with just about every speed, ramp and other current setting. You can then load all the settings by running the sbd file using the UR command.

Daryl....
I use 4 or 5 CustomXX.sbc files to load ramp settings for:
General all around cutting
Vcarving
3D cutting
Aluminum/Plastic cutting
eCabs Cutting.
The files are simply 2 lines:
VR,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x
pause .5
if you want them to show up in the "Cuts" menu, add an entry to the first line:
'Install 3D Ramp Settings
VR,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x
pause .5
And you can take this a step further and add a CN,XX call in the post header and another to reinstall the general settings at end of file. I have 5 postP's that install these specialized settings. Works for me, YMMV
