I don't know about any of you, but i'm so sick of some of my neighbors who walk their dogs and think it is perfectly acceptable for them to stop and let their dogs use my lawn as their toilets.

I put a sign up several years ago after chasing a few people out of my yard but it is starting up again. I saw this dxf in another forum and am going to use it in a sign but i thought i would post it here for any of you who might have the same problem.

Been there, then people just ignore the sign.....

new sign
"Caution Fertilizers Hazardous to pets have been applied to this grass"
Then sprinkle some mustard powder around the favorite place eg the mailbox stand.

people will give you a wide berth.......

Move to the sticks like me and the only poop you have to worry about is lions and tigers and bears, oh no. well maybe no tigers but lots of mountain lions and bears

Jack, buy yourself a cow or a horse, feed it well, and take it for a walk. :D

Jack, I'm sure a dog is not going to know what that sign means, but for the human race you might put up a sign that says WARNING ELECTRIC FENCE!!!!!!!!!!HOT!!!!!!!

As a nice shopbot project beyond a simple sign, you could cut out a fair sized Trebuchet and place it in the front yard.

Hang a sign on it, "All dog **it will be returned to owner."

That's something that hacks me, even when it's my own dog. I spent a month training Henry (our mascot stark white Siberian Husky) to go where I tell him to go. I can walk outside, point and say "Go Potty" and he takes off to where he knows he should go and runs back. If I say "Go More Potty" he goes back and drops a pile.

Cool part is... I can take him to a neighbors yard and say "Go More Potty!" and if he's gotta, he will. Hmmm... where's your house at Jack? :)

I've seen pictures of your dog, he does look cool:eek:

I had a neighbor who would walk her dog and allow it to **** on my lawn and i chased her a couple times. They always say "I'll clean it up" but what happens is some of it and the smell remains and other dogs and owners who WON'T pick it up come along and are attracted to it and leave it.

Well one night i took a bag full of "it" and dumped it on her front porch. I saw her cleaning it off her porch the next day. Needless to say she doesn't walk her dog on this side of the street anymore.

But others in the neighborhood are starting it up so i am going to have to put a sign up. It just gauls me to see someone lettng their dog use my lawn to **** on.....

BTW Harry, if you send your guy up here you may not get him back, i'd have to keep him i think. He's probably not as smart as this dog::eek::D

I see your Duncan and raise you one Henry :D

This is before his morning brushing... Takes about 20 minutes and he's good for the day. The next morning it's like he was never brushed. A lot of work but therapeutic. I probably brush one Duncan a day out of him.

Great looking dog. A friend of mine had one just like him. Not sure if he still does, I guess he'd have to be 15 or so by now.
