Gene. I disagree! I treat other trades as I would want to be treated. Do I get a few estimates? Yep,but I rarely take the lowest.

In my video production business i had a client agree to a budget, sign a contract, take delivery THEN decide he didn't want to pay what we agreed and unilaterally decide what HE thought it was worth.

The judge agreed with me....:D

It reminds me of a good percentage of the people in this country who always want handouts and are not willing to work for it.

It's not politics, it's human nature. There are still Katrina victims living in New York on the government...ehhh hem... our dime.

... as yet another sigh of anguish goes up from those struggling exporters who depend so heavily on image, goodwill and comfort level to keep those billions of foreign "dimes" coming in in an increasingly competitive. sophisticated and nervous global marketplace. Pretty much all who read between the lines on the internet there days. Yes, we're also just beginning to head down that same self-defeating path up here too and we can't blame the politicians either if we're honest about it. Sad really.:(
